We hope this note finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months. While many things have changed, our commitment to your safety has remained the same. We are very excited to announce that our office will be open starting Monday May 18, 2020. Our infection control process has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during all your visits to our office. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. Our new protocols and workflow will include the following: - We ask that customers call us upon arrival in the parking lot. We’ll prepare your chart and call you back to come in at your appointment start time. We kindly ask that any family members remain outside the office. - In order to provide the safest and healthiest experience possible to our customers. We will limit entrance to only the patient into the office. No kids will be allowed in the office at any time. -Upon arrival, we have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. We have a questionnaire that we would like for you to fill out as well and we will take your temperature to check for fever. - Patients with elevated temperatures will be rescheduled to a later date as per CDC guidelines. - You will see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, brochures, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. - Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. -We always do our best to allow greater time between patients to avoid waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time, to be on time for your appointment is more important than ever. -We use industry recommended masks, face shields and strictly adhere to hand hygiene, surface cleaning and sterilization protocols for patient safety. N95 and kN95 surgical and small particulate masks will be utilized by our team throughout treatment time including check in and check out.
